OLH EUM is a name derived from a Korean word, 

meaning ‘right’ or ‘upright’.
It is a space where chef Hoyoung Suh’s philosophy
of cooking honest food is shown.






OLH EUM’s Korean-French course dish allow Koreans
to comfortably enjoy western cuisine
by reinterpreting it in a Korean’s appetite.







The ‘prawn, sea urchin noodle’ directly shows
the cooking style of chef Hoyoung Suh
by dragging out a new taste on a familiar ingredient
by coating his own style.







OLH EUM’s owner chef Hoyoung Suh is walking his path as a chef after getting influenced by his grandmother who makes tofu, and his parents who owned a Korean restaurant. 








Chef Hoyoung Suh was born with the perfect food environment, 

Buan County in the North Jeolla Province,
a home of food ingredients and beautiful nature
with the Byeonsanbando National Park and Chaeseog River.







Chef Hoyoung Suh realized the true value of food in a place where healthy food existed everywhere 








We can understand the background of Chef Hoyoung Suh's 

philosophy and commitment of trying to bring out
the new taste of food ingredients by adding
the OLH-EUM particular style into fresh ingredients
that his parents directly harvests in Namdo.







As much as the rich and beautiful food environment is given to him, 

Chef Hoyoung Suh's hometown,
which he grew up since childhood,
is still his spring of inspiration.







Chef Hoyoung Suh designed the interior of OLH EUM and BONTE by himself because he has been studying architectural design since he was young. 








The open kitchen allows customers to watch the chefs' delicate moves, 

and the interior is designed by meticulously caring about each customer.
This shows Chef Hoyoung Suh's upright service mind,
which emphasizes communication with customers.







Chef Hoyoung Suh, who usually prefers Asian food, 

is running a dining restaurant
with an Asian exquisine concept called "OLH EUM" and “BONTE”.

If "OLH EUM" is a combination of modern Korean food
and Western food to allow customers to enjoy Western food more comfortably,
"BONTE" adds a Korean recipe to the representative foods of famous cities in Asia that young people like.
